I would like to thank everyone that participated and joined us in the fun for GPR Seminar 2018, Days of Vines and Stitches. All of the work and time put in to planning the event by the seminar committee was obvious – and helped to make it such a success! I would also like to say thank you to our Faculty – you were awesome!
Starting two years ago the seminar committee formed and set the direction of GPR Seminar 2018. We decided on a theme, designed the logo and held the logo stitching contest, created the class brochure, started planning the classes, the banquets, the classrooms, the fun evening events, transportation around campus, created the handbook, and most of all – a way to hopefully make it fun for all! So I would like to take a minute to thank the Seminar Executive Committee, the Seminar Committee Chairs, and all the volunteers that worked together to bring this event together.

One of the things I like best about the GPR Seminars is that so many members who come to the seminar volunteer while they are there! The list of angels and hospitality volunteers from during the seminar is long (too long to post everyone individually here) so I want to say thank all the volunteers for your time and effort during seminar – you are a large part of our success!
We had 30 first time attendees at Seminar 2018. How exciting is that! We hopefully have them hooked – and ready to go to the next seminar in Portland (2020). It is not too early to start saving up money for that trip now! Just start putting away $5 a week – and by the time registration comes around you will have a great nest egg of cash ready to go!
This seminar was such a blast to plan – and even more fun to attend. Thank you to everyone who attended! Thank you to everyone to volunteered!

I love all forms of needle art, including needlepoint, embroidery, cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, weaving, and just playing with threads. The biggest influence in my designs is the element of color. I have always been attracted to the richness of the colors we have in our world and this is reflected in my work.
Handcrafted by Richard Hill
BEAUTIFUL SHOWCASES for your needlework. Practical and useful. The needlework collection is handcrafted by Richard Hill in Jackson, California, using reclaimed black walnut hardwood in traditional dark and light tones, North Coast redwood and oak. Several designs, sizes and hardware tones are available — Special orders are encouraged. I strive to keep each of my creations unique — Although similar in appearance, each item has its own character. A satin, hand rubbed oil finish is applied to maintain the integrity of this beautiful wood. Your needlework is press fitted into the opening on top of the box using the included insert.
